ऋग्वेद के अनुसार ब्रह्मांड की उत्पत्ति

ऋगवेद में कुछ ऐसे सूक्त हैं जो ब्रह्मांड की उत्पत्ति का वर्णन करते हैं तथा वर्तमान के वैज्ञानिक खोज भी इसी तरह के तथ्यों का वर्णन करते हैं। नासदीय-सूक्त Nāsadīya-sūkta (RV10.129) जो ब्रह्मांड की उत्पत्ति पर अनुमान लगाता है, ने भारतीय दर्शन और पश्चिमी भाषाशास्त्र दोनों में कई टिप्पणियों को आकर्षित किया है। ब्रह्मांड की उत्पत्ति के बारे में पूछताछ करने वाले अन्य सूक्तों में हिरण्यगर्भ-सूक्त Hiranyagarbha-sūkta (RV10.121) और पुरुष-सूक्त Puruşa-sūkta (RV10.90) शामिल हैं। ऋग्वेद में जो ऊंचे और रोचक विचार मिलते हैं, वे इसे विशेष और प्रासंगिक रूप से प्रासंगिक बनाते हैं।
